“Breathtaking photos and video that will help us remember all moments of our day!

Armando is an absolutely amazing photographer which we already knew after our engagement photo shoot that was included in our wedding photo package. However, once we received our wedding photos, we were absolutely blown away!”

I'm Armando.

I've photographed weddings around this lake since 2018, and I'm the one who shows up — not an associate you meet on the morning of.

Before any of this I was photographing landscapes and wild horses out in the Nevada desert. Before that I ballroom danced competitively, which has turned out to be the most useful thing I've ever done for this job.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Especially if you'd rather not be the center of attention

Most of the couples I work with are quiet. They want the day documented properly, and they'd rather not spend eight hours being looked at or told how to stand.

You won't be directed at. I've never told anyone to look natural.

Family formals take twenty minutes, because we build the list before the day rather than calling names into a crowd. Then you're back at your own party.

What you get

Four things that aren't standard around here

One person, photo and film, all day.

Most wedding photographers don't shoot video. The ones who offer it hire a second company — two crews, two timelines, two vendors competing for the same spot during your vows. I shoot both, and I'm always one of the two people there.

A sneak peek within 24 hours. Your gallery in two to three weeks.

Four to eight weeks is the norm. I'd rather you have them while everyone still wants to see them.

35mm film, unedited.

What comes back from the scanner is what I hand you — no correcting, nothing pushed around afterward. With digital I can shoot twenty frames in a few seconds. With film everything slows down, and you only get the one.

I know these venues before you book them.

Where the light lands at Edgewood in September. Which Truckee ceremony sites go dark early. That the west shore faces east, so the sun sets behind you.

A signed contract and a 25% retainer. From there I build your timeline and you stop thinking about photography.

Send your date over

The date, the venue, and roughly how many people. That's plenty — I'll ask the rest.

Either way it comes to me. There's no assistant, and nothing automated about to start following you around the internet.
